Oklahoma leads as Big 12’s best program

Oklahoma leads the Big 12 in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup, a yearly competition between the entire athletic programs of universities across the country. The Sooners rank eighth overall with 431.75 points in the competition, which has been won by Stanford every year since 1995, the second year of the competition’s existence. The Cardinal finished second behind North Carolina in 1993-94, the first year of the cup.
