NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (May 23, 2019) – For the fourth time this year, Oklahoma City sits atop the Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings with 797.25 total points after a fourth-place finish in women’s golf.

Keiser jumped into the top-four in the first spring standings with a spring-high 250.00 points scored in three of four championships that have been scored to date. William Carey (3rd) is second this spring in points scored with 223.00, while Georgia Gwinnett rounds out the institutions scoring 200.00 or more points in the spring with a pair of national championships in both men’s and women’s tennis. Among the top-five, Lindsey Wilson gains ground on OCU, but remains second, while Cumberlands (KY) moves into fifth, led by a fifth-place performance in women’s golf. Rounding out the top-10, Aquinas moves up to sixth, led by a runner-up finish in the inaugural men’s volleyball championship, Morningside is seventh, Indiana Wesleyan occupies eighth, and Midland and the College of Idaho sit ninth and 10th, respectively.

Women’s: Golf – British Columbia; Tennis – Georgia Gwinnett
Men’s: Tennis – Georgia Gwinnett, Volleyball – Benedictine (AZ)

The Mid-South Conference leads the top-10 with a pair of institutions – Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands (KY). The Cascade Conference has four schools ranked in the top-20 – College of Idaho, Oregon Tech (13th), Southern Oregon (15th) and Eastern Oregon (18th).

The final 2018-19 NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Thursday, June 6.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
