Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (June 6, 2019) – Four spring championships remain and the battle at the top of the NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings is heating up as the Stanford Cardinal hold on to first overall with 1700.50 total points.

DI SPRING UPDATE
Stanford captured two team titles – women’s tennis and men’s golf – to secure first place overall heading into the final two weeks of the spring championship season. Michigan remains second but brings its point total to 1224.75 led by three recent top-10 performances. Virginia springs into the top-five with an incredible cluster of championship performances as the Cavaliers have tallied four top-10 performances including a national championship in men’s lacrosse. In fourth, Texas steers clear of USC in fifth by just 0.25, followed by the Big Ten Conference duo of Penn State (6th) and Ohio State (7th). Duke, led by a national championship in women’s golf, moves back into the top-10 in eighth, while the Florida Gators and North Carolina Tar Heels round out the top-10.

Women’s: Beach Volleyball (NC) – UCLA; Golf – Duke; Lacrosse – Maryland; Rowing – Washington; Tennis – Stanford;
Water Polo (NC) – Stanford
Men’s: Golf – Stanford; Lacrosse – Virginia; Tennis – Texas; Volleyball (NC) – Long Beach State

CONFERENCE
At the conference level, the Big Ten and ACC lead all Division I conferences with three institutions each in the top-10.
