Oklahoma City Captures 3rd Straight Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup

CLEVELAND (June 6, 2019) –Oklahoma City took home its third straight Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup in 2018-19, recording 921.25 total points.

Oklahoma City scored in the maximum 13 sports allotted, having four scored omitted (women’s cross country and outdoor track and field and men’s indoor track and field and baseball).

NAIA 2018-19 FINAL
The Stars took home the men’s cross country national championship and recorded 11 top-10 performances. William Carey finished second overall with 806 total points, its highest finish in the Cup standings. The Crusaders also scored in the maximum 13 sports, having two scores omitted (women’s indoor track and field and softball), and taking home the national title in women’s soccer. William Carey scored a spring-high 426.50 points. Lindsey Wilson finished third overall with 782.50 total points, also scoring in the maximum 13 sports allowed, with three scores taken away (women’s indoor track and field and golf and men’s tennis). For the second year in a row, Keiser finishes fourth overall with 747.50 total points, taking home the national championship in men’s swimming and tallying four runner-up finishes in the following women’s sports – soccer, swimming, golf and tennis. Rounding out the top-five is Indiana Wesleyan with 679 total points. One scored had to be removed for the Wildcats, cheer, with their highest finish coming in men’s cross country, second overall.

CONFERENCE
The Mid-South finished atop the conference standings with a pair of teams finishing in the top-10, Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands (KY).
