NCAA Division II Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (Nov. 27, 2019) – In the first set of fall Division II Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings, Adams State leads out the gate by a mere five points over Colorado School of Mines, 190-185 total points.

The top-five institutions in the first round of standings all scored in the Division II Cross Country Championships over the weekend.
The Grizzlies of Adams State were a one-two punch, taking home first on the women’s side and finishing second on the men’s side. Colorado School of Mines took home first on the men’s side and finished third overall on the women’s side. With 170 total points, Grand Valley State is in third overall after second and fourth place finishes. Chico State (7th-W, 3rd-M) and Western Colorado (4th-W, 7th-M) round out the top five with 157 and 152 total points, respectively.

Women’s: Cross Country – Adams State, Field Hockey – West Chester
Men’s: Cross Country – Colorado School of Mines

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) leads all Division II conferences with three institutions – Adams State, Colorado School of Mines and Western Colorado in the top 10.

The next 2019-20 NCAA Division II Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Thursday, December 19.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
