Fall Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings Update

CLEVELAND (Dec. 24, 2019) – The final Learfield Directors’ Cup fall standings for Divisions II and III and the NAIA have Colorado School of Mines (DII – 416.00 total points), Johns Hopkins (DIII – 481.00 total points) and Lindsey Wilson (NAIA – 294.00 total points) sitting in first of their respective divisions. Stanford continues to lead the Division I rankings prior to the Bowl Games and the FCS Championship with a total of 594 total points, including three national championships – women’s soccer and volleyball and men’s water polo.

In Division II, Western Washington is in second place with 299.00 points, Wingate is in third with 283.00 points, Grand Valley State is in fourth place with 270.00 points and West Chester (PA) rounds out the top-five with 240.00 points.

In Division III, Tufts is in second with 354.50 points, in third is Chicago with 322.50 points, MIT is in fourth with 311.00 points and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps finishes the top five with 305.50 points.

The final fall NAIA standings have Indiana Wesleyan in second with 288.50 points, Embry-Riddle (AZ) in third with 287.00 points, in fourth is Columbia (MO) with 283.00 points and Marian rounds out the top five with 280.00 points.

The Division I standings currently have Michigan in second with 366.00 points, Washington in third with 317.00 points, BYU in fourth with 313.00 points and Wisconsin rounding out the top five with 282.00 points.

The next 2019-20 NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Thursday, January 16. The winter standings will begin distribution on Thursday, March 12.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
