NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (Dec. 12 2019) – In the second set of fall NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings, Indiana Wesleyan jumps from fifth to first, leading Embry-Riddle (AZ) by a mere one and a half points, 288.50-287.00 total points.

The Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan have four top-10 finishes to date – 5th in both women’s soccer and volleyball, 7th in women’s cross country and 8th in men’s cross country. Embry-Riddle moved from seventh in last week’s standings to second overall after finishing 17th overall in all three championships from this past weekend – men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball. In third is Columbia (MO) with a 3rd place finish in men’s soccer and 17th overall in both women’s soccer and volleyball. Eastern Oregon is fourth after a 5th place showing in women’s soccer, 9th in volleyball and 32nd overall in men’s soccer. Rounding out the top-five is Southern Oregon finishing 9th in volleyball and 17th in women’s soccer.

Men’s: Cross Country – Oklahoma City; Soccer – Central Methodist

The Cascade conference leads all conferences with four institutions in the top-25 – Eastern Oregon (4th), Southern Oregon (5th), College of Idaho (17th) and Oregon Tech (23rd).

The next 2019-20 NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Tuesday, December 24.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
