NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (Dec. 19, 2019) – In the second set of fall Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings, Stanford leads with 494.50 total points, while the ACC leads all conferences with 10 institutions in the top-25.

The Cardinal recorded a pair of national championships (water polo and women’s soccer) and was 3rd in men’s soccer. Michigan is second with 316 points, finishing 9th in both men’s and women’s soccer. Virginia after a runner-up finish in men’s soccer and 17th place showing in women’s soccer moves up to third with 277 points. BYU is fourth with 263 total points after a 5th place showing in women’s soccer. Rounding out the top-five is Washington with 244 points, finishing 5th in men’s soccer and 17th overall in women’s soccer.

Women’s: Cross Country – Arkansas, Field Hockey – North Carolina; Soccer – Stanford
Men’s: Cross Country – BYU; Soccer – Georgetown
National Collegiate: Men’s Water Polo – Stanford

The ACC and Pac-12 lead all conferences with three institutions in the top-10 – ACC: Virginia (3rd), North Carolina State (6th) and Notre Dame (7th); Pac-12: Stanford (1st), Washington (5th) and Colorado (8th).

The next 2019-20 NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Tuesday, December 24.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
