NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (Dec. 5, 2019) – In the first set of fall Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings, Stanford leads with 211.50 total points, while the ACC leads all conferences with three institutions in the top-10 – Boston CollegeVirginia and NotreDame.

The top-five institutions in the first round of standings all scored in the Division I Cross Country Championships. The Cardinal tallied three top-10 finishes – 3rd (women’s cross country), 6th (men’s cross country) and 9th (field hockey). BYU is second after finishing 1st in men’s cross country and 2nd in women’s cross country. In third with 188 points is Michigan with a pair of top-10 finishes (men’s cross country, field hockey) and 13th overall in women’s cross country. Rounding out the top-five with one point separating the pair are Colorado and Northern Arizona, 152.50-151.50.

The ACC leads all conferences with three institutions in the top-10 – Boston College, Virginia and Notre Dame.

The next 2019-20 NCAA Division I Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be published on Thursday, December 19.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
