NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (June 3, 2021) – Due to COVID, the 2020-21 Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings have been adjusted to include the fall and winter championships in the first release, while the final standings on July 2 will include all three championship seasons. Indiana Wesleyan leads in the first set of standings with 643 total points.
 
The Wildcats have scored in nine championships between the fall and winter, with their highest finishes coming in women’s basketball and cheer, both third overall. In addition, Indiana Wesleyan also has two top-five showings in men’s indoor track and field (4th) and women’s cross country (5th).
 
In second are the Knights of Marian with 584.50 point, including two third place showings, women’s soccer and men’s bowling.
 
Indiana Tech is in third with 569.50 heading into the spring scoring with two national championships this winter, women’s bowling and women’s indoor track and field.
 
Grand View is in fourth with 548.75 points with four top-five finishes, including a second place showing in wrestling.
 
Rounding out the top-five is Oklahoma City with 540 points, including a national championship in cheer and runner-up finish in dance.
 
CONFERENCE
At the conference level, the Great Plains leads all NAIA conferences with three institutions in the top-10, Morningside (6th), Midland (7th) and Dordt (10th).

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NAIA Championships.
